Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay 2020
The Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay grapes were all hand harvested from four key vineyards in the Carneros district, located in Sonoma County. The grapes were whole bunch pressed, 100% barrel fermented and completed secondary (Malolactic) fermentation. The wine was then aged in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels (18% new French oak) for 9 months before being bottled unfiltered. The Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay opens with brilliant aromas of white flowers and baked apple, layered with notes of toasted almonds and clementines. This is a complex wine that coats the palate while still displaying brisk acidity and a long, full finish.
