The Château Léoville Barton Grand Vin is a second growth cru classé from the Saint Julien appellation of Bordeaux. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (80%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Franc (5%), the wine is aged for between 16 and 18 months in French oak barrels of which 60% are brand new. Still quite closed but showing great promise of both fresh and preserved fruits.
