This cuvée of René Bouvier Gevrey-Chambertin is a blend of lieux-dits, Justice and Jeunes Rois. Juicy and fruity, this is an elegant, spicy, strawberry-scented wine, so light and fresh it is hard to believe it’s Gevrey. The tannins are finely-textured with enough to provide balance but not to dominate and this allows the fruit to be particularly expressive. The finish is long and clear and sustained.
