EMPERUS Šumadijaska Šljivovica is the first and only brandy with a certified geographical indication in Serbia. It is produced from local plum varieties - Red ranka, Čačanska rodna, and Čačanska lepotica, which are exclusively grown and harvested in the territory of the Šumadija district. This means that the certification process includes control of the locality where these plums are grown the handling of the raw materials, as well as control of the processing and fermentation process. It has an intense vanilla-balsamic aroma and a full, rounded and harmonious taste, aged in oak barrels from the Serbian mountains.
