Aged for 14 months in lightly toasted French oak barrels, the wine is ripe and fruity on the nose with distinct spicy, earthy and herbal scents. This savoury complexity is supported by fine, chewy tannins and textbook cherry juiciness. This is a serious wine which demands food.
