Vietti 'Perbacco' Langhe Nebbiolo 2022
The grapes for the Vietti 'Perbacco' Langhe Nebbiolo are grown in various selected vineyards mostly in the Barolo area and a smaller part from Barbaresco, which when blended form the Langhe DOC. At the winery malolactic conversion took place in large Slavonian and French oak casks. Each parcel was processed and aged separately until the selection process, where the parcels from the Barolo vines were selected to be included in the blend of Perbacco and those that would continue ageing to become Barolo Castiglione. Perbacco ageing lasted for 18 to 20 months in oak. The Vietti 'Perbacco' is an exquisite Nebbiolo with generous notes of red fruit complemented by layers of floral, spicy, menthol and sweet fruit through to a rich, full palate with an intense finish.
